Important Update About Music in IMVU Classic

" you can now listen to your fav music in your room with everyone !! bla bla bla !!! "  oh yeah... side not. it only works on windows. " // Jesus,  do you people even read what you are posting ? So you can not listen to your fav music because its a radio station that decides what songs are going to play so it is NOT MY fav music. and NO you can not listen to music with everyone because its only for windows computers. I can not host an event with theme and themed music because i can NOT play MY music. The links dont even work on that player SMH and when i did find one that worked it was stupid music with a lot commercials and i was the only one that heard it !!!!!! No one else could joing in it didnt work for them. SO THEY LEFT the room.  Now my rooms are EMPTY ! People always complimented me for my mysic i had tons ! something for everyone. They even asked me to park and put my mixes on when i had to leave imvu to go sleep or whatever. So i parked in a DJ booth spot and put a few mixes on with like 150 songs in each mix. and when i came back it was still playing and people still dancing and having fun in the room and new people came in too and STAYED and became regulars or even close friends. NOW PEOPLE COME IN AND LEAVE !!!! or just sit there and dont say nothing. NOBODY DANCES ANYMORE. THE VIBE IS GONE. WHY WOULD YOU GO INTO A DANCE CLUB IF YOU CANT HEAR MUSIC AND THE SAME MUSIC AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM ?? WHY WOULD YOU GO INTO A DANCE SPOT IF YOU CANT HEAR MUSIC ?????? WHY WOULD I GO INTO A DJ BOOTH SPOT IF I CANT PLAY MY MUSIC AND EVEN IF I CAN GET IT TO WORK ITS NOT ME SELECTING THE SONGS AND PLAYING THE MUSIC ???????? I CAN DELETE ALL THE DJ BOOTH SPOTS AND FURNI THEY ARE OF NO USE ANYMORE. I CAN DELETE ALL DANCE POSES THEY ARE OF NO USE ANYMORE NOBODY GOES IN THEM ANYMORE SINCE YOU STOLE AND TOOK MY MUSIC MIXES !! I CAN DELETE ALL MY DANCE CLUB ROOMS BECAUSE THERE IS NO MUSIC !!!! PEOPLE COME IN LOOK AROUND AND POOF LEAVE !!! NOW ALL MY ROOMS ARE EMPTY AND NOBODY COMES TO THEMED PARTY'S AND EVENTS ANYMORE THAT I HOSTED. NOT EVEN PC EVENTS ( SO WE ARENT BOTHERED BY MOBILE PHONE KIDS ) ONLY A FEW SEND MESSAGE FOR INVITE TO PC AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES THEY LEFT BECAUSE THERE IS NO VIBE NO MUSIC . YOU KILLED THAT IMVU. YOU AND NOBODY ELSE. YOU KILLED MY ROOMS MY EVENTS MY PARTYS MY DANCE POSES MY ROOMS ARE USELESS NOW AND EMPTY. THANSK AGAIN FOR TAKING AWAY SOMETHING THAT ALLREADY HALF WORKED MOST OF THE TIME LATELY AND INSTEAD OF FIXING IT DELETING IT TOTALLY AND GIVING US SOMETHING IN RETURN THAT DOESNT WORK AT ALL !!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE ME MY MUSIC BACK THAT I PAYED FOR. AND ALL MY MIXES THAT I PUT TOGETHER. IN ORDER AND THEMED ., I WANT EVERY LAST SONG BACK AND ALL MY MIXES PUT BACK IN THE WAY I MADE THEM. OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK  . JESUS FF-ING CHRIST !!  

Apparently my music meant nothing to the powers that B so to show them they mean nothing to me I have downgraded my membership,  and it won't take much to put my other foot out the door and not look back. While I'm at it that streaming thing won't even take the web addresses I have put in it one being station 181 all the sites can get that station Why can't IMV you know who?

this decision didnt take in to consideration many imvu users who cannot upgrade on classic (nor do they want to use Next) because their respective pcs cannot handle much, how is this fair on those that cannot upgrade because they cannot afford newer pcs, there was not thought behind this action other than to try and shunt everyone to desktop/mobile/next despite the fact thet they have systems that cannot cope with the hog that imvu is on newer versions, a friend of mine on an older pc is in this position, they are a long time user on here, the streaming is of NO benefit to them or many others, as well as i have notice that some streams do not work in certain countries and areas so how is this a universal service?

This is total crap all the money we put into IMVU  to be treated like this is uncalled for and if they  end up  shutting off they have no one but themselves to blame i have beenhere for 20 years now and have never once been treated like a human being. This is kinda the last straw to have all this music I PAYED FOR  and cannot be able to use it  or them refund back for it and if they sau precredites to pay it back NO  I DID NOT PAY WITH PRECREDITS ! fully  upset and sick of the non feedback lieing jerks who run this place!

@Coyote....I get the same old copy and pasted robotic replies you do and all of us members do even when I talk to them live on the chat feature...We dont talk to people that actually act like real people or have any feelings or real thoughts....we talk to robotic puppets of the Website that are told to just feed us BS answers hoping we just finally stop and go away...Thats why they dont care and couldnt care less what we say or how we feel...because they dont have the same feelings we do about making this website great again....They are self destructive robots..copy and paste machines...They have been doing that ever since they took their phone support down..Feeding us copy and pasted crap from a script treating us like we are idiots..They knew this was coming and they knew the backlash this was going to cause for the past 2 years..conveniently when they took the phone lines down at that time....They will never actual give you a real thought from their own heads..well I refuse to give up and will NOT accept this complete rip-off of our money, songs and mixes....We are real people with real feelings and loved our music, our mixes and songs that we each as individual put alot of time and invested alot of thought and money into making our mixes over many years.....How dare they take away memorial mixes I had made for many of my friends that loved this website who passed away through the years and I wanted to honor them with song...Songs that were their favorites and I could still always remember each of them by playing their mix and sharing it with our friends who loved and missed them..Those were so special to us and they couldnt care less one bit...They spit on my dear friends graves doing this to me...They have no clue what they took from each of us by doing this to us and they had plenty of time to figure out an alternate route knowing VerveLife had planned their shutdown for years....and IMVU did absolutely NOTHING to be ready for it..In fact, what they actually did was continue to take our money for songs they knew eventually we were never going to be able to keep...yet they kept listing songs ,letting us buy them and kept taking our hard earned money and gave us NO warning....SNAKES !!!!!  HEARTLESS !!!!!

When I submit a "complaint" to CS I continue to get this as a response ...

This cutoff was put in place to ensure a consistent and fair approach across all accounts as part of retiring the service.

We recognize this may not cover all past purchases and may not fully reflect your overall experience with the feature. While we’re not able to extend refunds beyond this period, please know that your feedback is important, has been noted, and will be shared with the team."

WHO made this decision? How is this "fair" to those of us who have been purchasing from your store for years?

I have been on IMVU 18 year and  last night  there was only 28k people on  at most, and this website used t over 200k people ,  WOW, IMVU, you really shot yourselves  in the foot for being so greedy, I hope your board of directors ask the owner lots of hard questions but then maybe, you planned on doing this, its pathetic

You took away our music and you didn't give us a refund? you do know this is called theft right? you want to hear my suggestion? instead of radio stream, why don't you add a YouTube tab on IMVU Classic client or why don't you add a music tab where we can upload our MP3 music?

@Bammcrime ...You are 100% right on the money.....They robbed us and spit in our faces at the same time..We are treated like stupid idiots and garbage and they just laugh at us...

Last night I came on for a bit.....It was a Saturday night....There were 28,000 people on....Years ago there used to be well over 100,000 people on here for a Saturday night..Years before that we sometimes got close to 200,000 people on...The Mass Exodus has begun IMVU....LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO YOUR OWN WEBSITE IMVU !!!!....The members are speaking loud and clear about the abuse you heap on us and this theft of our music probably is the final straw....How much more are we supposed to continue to take before we finally leave? And as you can see..THEY ARE LEAVING AND FAST...And the few people that do end up staying will NEVER buy another item from this websites store ever again...which will then make the creators leave which is sad...The creators dont deserve to have this happen to them but its going to happen because everyone I know refuses to spend another dime on here after you stole our money by taking away our music and mixes....AND YOU CAUSED THIS CHAIN REACTION IMVU....We didnt pay Vervelife..WE PAID YOU.....YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE...And then to be sneaky on top of that to take down our music purchase history from all of our accounts on top of what you had already done...What gall and nerve !!!!!...And I think you know whats coming next legally...

This isnt going to end well ..... Just keep breaking and taking your own company down. 

Ok and when i googled Verlife i've seen they already stopped busines with partners back in 2024 because of quiting in the near future. so... 2 years it was already known that they would quit soon.. Whats your excuse now again ? You didnt get the memo ??  DONT MAKE ME LAUGH !!  You just want to get rid of the client ( classic ) without spending a dime and you just push people away untill there is hardly anyone left on there. and then say. oh yea.. we gonna delete the client. because there are hardly people on their anyways. Download beta next bla bla bla. Its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO predictable and transparent to see. WHY dont you just say that and admit it. But NOOOOOOOOO you want to squeze more money out of the classic client and its people as long as possible ... keep letting people but things on there ( like music ) spend money and then POOF its gone.  ADMIT IT.. SAY THE TRUTH... 

Well the good thing is,, probably someone was fired for not deleting the purchases logs from the website. They totally forgot about that one when they deleted the whole music store and inventory from our pages so we cant proof anything. It wasnt for Satori coming back on this post to answer where he saw a lot of  us post screenshots of it..and he was like.. well sh!t. we forgot it was listed there too..DELETE IT ! NOW !!!  than right that day a few minutes after he posted another comment POOF it was gone . it is clear as glass that it was all done on purpose. So you make a post saying make a screenshot and send it to us. and then you yourself make it totally impossible to make a screenshot of it because you yourself deleted it quick after ff-ing up.  Seriously ???  How old are you ? Like 5 or something ?? You think we are all idiots or something ? Some of us made the screenshots already. Because we knew you people would do this like real maffia conmen. I hope your mom and wife and kids are proud of you all.. Liars and thieves and cons.. I have made all the screenshots and saved them. Including my acc. name at the top etc ( this shot doesnt have it because i dont want to reveil my credit and promo amount. but trust me the ones i have on my comp do. ) . So tell me where to get my refunds ?? And i mean money. You cant sell me a car and then years later just take away the car without telling me and not giving my money back  just because one of your dealerships and partners closed their business. What kind  of BULLCRAP is that. ?? Maybe find better partners ! But then again maybe they dont want to work with YOU. Because you are shady AF !
