Important Update About NFTs

Starting January 30, 2026, IMVU will be removing the blockchain component from NFTs and rebranding all existing NFTs as Limited Edition (LE) products. With this change, these items will no longer exist on the blockchain and will instead be fully supported as Limited Edition digital products within the IMVU platform, retaining their exclusivity and in-platform value while aligning with our current product ecosystem.

Limited Edition (LE) Products

LE Products can be listed in the Shop at a fixed price. Buyers can purchase LE products from the Shop or directly from you if you are in a Live Room and are wearing your LE item. After the LE product is sold, the reseller pays a small processing and royalty fee in VCOIN based on the sale price.

You will receive a confirmation message, a receipt in your VCOIN wallet, and a message once your LE product has been resold. You will also be able to track your LE product transactions in your VCOIN Wallet.

Reselling Limited Edition (LE) Products on IMVU Mobile

Step 1: Go to Inventory and tap on the LE product you want to resell. Tap List for Sale, then enter the price in VCOIN you want to list the LE product for.

Step 2: Confirm your listing price, fees, and sales proceeds. Then tap List for Sale to list your item in the Shop. You can tap Edit to change the price or tap Remove to delist your LE product from the Shop.

Step 3: Once you’ve resold your LE product, you will pay a processing and royalty fee.

Reselling Limited Edition (LE) products on IMVU Desktop

Step 1: Go to Inventory and click on the LE product you want to resell. Click List for Sale, then enter the price in VCOIN you want to list the LE product for.

Step 2: Confirm your listing price, fees, and sales proceeds. Then click List for Sale to list your item in the Shop. You can click Edit to change the price or click Remove to delist your LE product from the Shop.

Step 3: Once you’ve resold your LE product, you will pay a processing and royalty fee.

My state or country does not allow me to buy/withdraw VCOIN. If someone gifts me VCOIN, can I use that to buy and resell Limited Edition (LE) products?  

Yes. You are only restricted from buying or withdrawing VCOIN, but if it’s gifted to you, you can use it to buy LE products. You will also have the option to resell that LE product.
