Is anyone else seeing a drastic drop in sales over the last couple of months? I'm down by $1-200 a fortnight on what I used to earn. This is way more than usual fluctuations. I'm worried.

Yes, we have noticed a noticeable drop in sales since September of last year, also in another IMVU

accounts that I have, but I think this is something generalized, we also notice it in another virtual world where we do animations.

Okay, apparently I'm way behind the times. When did 1000 credits start costing $3? That's an absurdly high price. You cross that over with the current economy, then no wonder our sales are dropping off a cliff. That makes your average item in the catalog cost slightly less than $3. I'm sorry, but that's way too steep for your average virtual item. I know some stuff is less and some is more, but I think the catalog average as being 900-1000 credits.

At least a 50% decrease in sales and income. I thought it was just me.

Thanks everyone for posting. This is very worrying.

I don't think this is to do with lockdowns ending - my sales are well below what they were pre-covid.

Sales have indeed been droping since the end of the lockdown. It's been divided by two on my side. But sales have doubled during the lockdown before that.

I'm also seing on the classic client a number of users that are two to three times lower than it used to be. This is a concern to me.

The main issue now is that the rize of prices we are all seing with the energies and the common goods are being a serious issue for us all. I wish IMVU can focus more on fidele creators who are working daily here to offer a rich value added and offer us more opportunities. Be all blessed.

Most of my profit is not from CLOTHING. Clothing is fine and needed but it seems IMVU is tutrning into a Dressup you r "Doll" and "Pickup Lines".

IMVU is More than this... IMVU is a complete universe of things that should be show cased. It is a complete lifestyle for many. Some (most used to) "Live" on IMVU and they need Housing, Furniture, Clothing, Party Life, Bling and fun activity.

My sales were down from before (Sept.-Oct.) Winter Season; this year, is down by about 35% of a normal Christmas. I am currently earning about 45% of what I should be earning. Sales are WAY DOWN from when Credit Resellers were buying Credits.

Who is buying Gas, Milk and Bread for the family? vs. Who is buying Credits?

Inflation is bad BUT - That doesn't cut it. New people trying IMVU for cheap entertainment should be spending money with all of us. IMVU is cheap entertainment and people should be substituting this for "Going to the Movies" (cant afford), Going "Out to Eat"(cant afford), Going out with Friends for Night Life(cant afford). Where else can you buy Beach Front Property and spend every weekend there for a few dollars? IMVU should be SOARING during these hard times.

I think we need a raise. Where does the money come from (IMVU) for our beloved Meshers who make the "Canvas" for our beloved Artists to "Paint"?

IMVU needs to adjust something on their side so we are not just giving it away.

  • Stop Free Promos with Credit Sales?
  • Adjust the cost of Credits and pass that extra profit to Creators?
  • Adjust something that I can not equate without all the information.

We are LOSING our Experienced, Talented Artists to other realms and sources of income!

We have lost a TON of TALENT. It is time to stop this reaction, now.

It is time to act...

@DarkAngel5 The reason creators don't check in here is because of the reformatting of the forums. There's no longer pages to reference; you can't 'quote' other people's posts, and it was all intended to keep us from gaining a head of steam over a topic to the point where they'd have to respond. It was a silencing measure.

Btw, I've decided I'm going to harp on this whenever I'm driven into this embarrassment of a forum: Where the eff is the 'edit post' feature for after you've hit answer?

My sales are down 70-80% and i really see that its not worth my time, money or effort to keep on creating.I make stuff on this(my main account)and my alts, means i work daily.I get the same sales on all, down on all accounts.

Something has to be done, otherwise i see us old creators leave.

I don't know about the last few months, but on my tax returns my income from IMVU has dropped from around $1250 to $320. Part of that is due to them no longer including my old promo bundles in the mystery box, which hurt, but couldn't last forever. Would be nice if they brought back promo bundles and opened submissions.

As a mesher with a few popular ones mine used to stay pretty steady even when I haven't been real active. When covid hit my sales went up, now it's probably about half what I made then.

I wished I'd added to my above post, the fact MESHERS are seeing this should send giant-sized RED FLAGS.

Plummeted so badly over the past six months, I cannot believe my eyes. I'm doing nothing different, I'm just as active in creating as I've always been, but my sales are scarily low, like NEVER before. Ever.

My sales tanked so hard I lost tiers this month. I was shocked when I logged in. Normally it doesnt bother me much but right now the added sales could have helped. Normally my sales are right in line to keep me in tier 10, but these last two months not so much.

I mesh and have things I derived in my catalog, this slump kinda hurts. Im not sure what has changed other than the lack of "spare" money for people to spend on here. -looks confused as her map in in crayon and upside down-
