Is anyone else seeing a drastic drop in sales over the last couple of months? I'm down by $1-200 a fortnight on what I used to earn. This is way more than usual fluctuations. I'm worried.

Same here. My sales are down around 30-40%.. It's the first time, since I started meshing, that my profit has been so low. Something needs to be done immediately.

Yes I have noticed a little drop in sales. I didn't have many sales to begin with, so it's pretty easy to see. idk why or what caused it. Maybe it is the economy.

I am hoping someone on Staff who regularly reads here will "Go to bat" for us Creators.
IMVU does have a "kind heart"... it is just hard to open, sometimes.

I felt like I haven't been doing bad but my income says otherwise. I am making half as much as I was a year ago. I noticed a huge chunk of sales for me is promo credits, so I just give my stuff away for free now I guess. It feels so great to know inflation is getting worse and my pay is going down.

One of the most disastrous policy choices IMVU ever made was allowing just anyone to become a creator - there really should have been a maximum number of us allowed. Ie, we should have been made into a guild from the start and one of us should have been designated the liaison who communicates with IMVU. It would certainly have likely kept the catalog from becoming the unorganized, bloated monstrosity it became, and would also have made it easier to police the black market (Yeah, I know, some of you are flipping off the screen as you read this). Over time we could have maybe expanded the numbers with IMVU, but limiting the numbers would have kept the catalog from becoming watered down and allowed for a better profit margin for those of us who were serious about making it a source of secondary (or primary) income. This would have benefits IMVU in that it would be far more likely nowadays that people could afford their advertising, and their catalog might have possessed the veneer or professionalism with its cataloging.

IMVU killed my income off last year, the pre Xmas hit they did on our earnings was the final straw for me after multiple successive income hits in the previous 18 months, all compounded with the disastrous rollout of Studio. I don't think IMVU is interested in developers anymore its more about hype and spin now to sucker money out of investors, shafting creators to this "off topic" forum fits with that agenda.

Yes mine is having a dive too, that's why I hate it when I see more pended transaction reversals. Maybe we lost the Russian customers as well.

My Sales Are A Complete Dumpster Fire. They have actually been tanking for years.. But the last couple months is just alarming. I use to make around 20 to 30 dollars a day not being showcased... To now 1 and 2 dollars a day. This is insanity at the highest levels. Something has got to be happening that we are all unaware of.. You devote over a decade to a company and you expect your sales to reflect that. Your income is suppose to be increasing not decreasing. Hubby had to take on another job just to make up for what IMVU is not paying anymore. But yet we are still burning and churning out products like mad people. Something has to give.

@wiing That is disturbing to me because I thought that clothing/accessories creators were faring better, since Mobile is being pushed. I figured that room and furniture creator sales were down due to this. For gowns to see a 40% decrease is quite disturbing. That means there has to be more to it than the fact that Mobile is being pushed. Disturbing indeed.

When covid hit uk had furlough scheme so people still had wages, when they went back to work they either closed up or sacked lots of workers to keep going. We are now seeing a ripple effect and it will effect the entertainment part of peoples wages. I know many many people in the uk will now decide either to eat, or keep warm, it will now be cheaper for lots and lots to sit in a cafe and drink tea than it will be to heat their homes. Council tax up, gas, electric, water bills, food, petrol. If this is happening in other countries then we have a rocky road ahead. gas and electric will be rising by 2000 pounds more.

I have seen a decrease in sales, however I assumed it was because I haven't been creating here for the past 2 years, nor have I used IMVU's latest creating platform. (shame really, i waited years for it to come out so I could play with it, then mobile hit IMVU and my room and furniture sales decreased so much I had to take a job out in the "real" world, now haven't time to use the tools they finally gave us) ;(
I thought it was due to my not putting out new stuff, But this post shows that even if I was activly creating, Ill prob still have a sales decrease, THAT is indeed scary. I feel for you all who are using this as your only income, as I did for years. I know this kind of decrease can cause massive stress and anxiety in us creators, wondering if this is the beginning of the end for our earnings. I know it always freaked me out each time my sales took a massive dive. Hence the need to look for a more steady income, as IMVU just became to controlled with how they could affect my day to day life with simple decisions, like promo bundles dissapearing, resellers gone, massa limits being placed on us.
I miss creating, I miss interacting with you all often, unfortunately, this kinda stress was hitting to hard. So I now feel for you all, and hope things pick up and perhaps bring back the old client use, or at least some kinda new imvu platform that will bring the life back from mobiles. Perhaps the meta-verse will be a new way to go in the next 5 years. Been keeping a close eye on whats happening that side of things, perhaps imvu will jump in there somewhere.

This is scary indeed. The living costs are skyrocketing and the income is dropping like a rock! I see all time low sales ever since I started creating for income ~11 years ago.
