Room Hashtags appear directly on room cards and highlight the interests of people currently active in a room. Hashtags you already have on your profile are highlighted, helping you quickly spot shared interests. With Room Hashtags, you can:
Discover rooms based on shared interests
Search for rooms using hashtags, including combinations of up to three hashtags
Improve your room recommendations by adding hashtags to your profile
Tell IMVU which topics you're not interested in
Discover related rooms through hashtag-based recommendations
You can also see why a room was recommended to you, including which hashtags contributed to the recommendation. For Room Hosts, hashtag controls make it possible to restrict specific hashtags from being associated with your rooms.
