IMVU Mobile Inventory & Shop Improvements!

I'm not entirely sure if it was a quirk that came with this update or not but- I love the new inventory/shop category tag bars, that's very helpful in narrowing down some of the wonderfully endless items out there. However, there's a sudden change for all the images in shop and inventory (mainly for accessory items), and half of the item images became all the same standing mannequin with the item on it in very small detail now. It's 100% harder to find anything I'm looking for even with the help of the tag categories. Everything looks the same now, trying to read every item name hoping I remember it enough to find it or even spending the next few hours trying on each item til I find the right one, can be exhausting and incredibly challenging for someone dyslexic trying to read all the item names on my phone. I'd love to keep the categories but bring back the original item images so things can be truly easier to find, I think this could be an great update otherwise 

This is an incredible quality-of-life update for mobile users! Having the search and filter tools finally available across both iOS and Android inventory is a game-changer. The new Undo, Redo, and Reset buttons in the Fitting Room are going to make styling avatars so much easier and stress-free. Awesome work, IMVU Team!

Due to the game we were given, we would like the ability to delete items from the "Inventory" category. Because we are accumulating a large number of items, we are requesting your attention so that we can "sell" or "delete" items already acquired from our inventory.

Please consider this message so that my colleagues and I at IMVU can better enjoy the game.

     My entire shop is now hidden from the mobile catalog, and my sales have dropped drastically—by 81%. That’s an immediate and drastic impact. I create men’s wear. I labeled my items as unisex to be inclusive for that small percentage of users who might want to wear men’s clothing, but unisex is compatibility, not a gender. My target audience is men, and they can no longer find my items because they have been completely removed from the men's category. I also can't simply change my items back to men's, even if I wanted to. Majority of my items are derivables that other creators have derived from, so they can't be altered at this point. Years of my work have essentially been hidden overnight.

If IMVU is going to treat unisex as its own category instead of a compatibility feature, creators should be given that choice before publishing items. Had I known that marking an item as unisex would remove it from the men's category, I would have made a different decision moving forward. Unfortunately, I can't continue marking my products as unisex if it means they're no longer visible to my actual audience. I create men's wear, not unisex wear.

     I think a much better approach would be to keep men's items in the men's category and women's items in the women's category, while adding a compatibility filter that lets users view which items are also compatible with both avatars—similar to how the "Derivables" filter works. That would preserve discoverability while still highlighting compatibility.

Treating compatibility as if it's a gender category isn't really reasonable. This update has effectively hidden years of my work and has had a major and immediate impact on my income.

Any way to update the broadcasting tab. I use Ice cast, and shout cast on encoders. And it does not work from the control panel. It be nice to use caster.fm inside of imvu some of us own our own radio servers where we live dj.

The update honestly sucks. It took away the ability to check your messages and browse the shop while you’re in a room on mobile. Those were really convenient features, and removing them just made the app less user friendly.
