I have been getting connection network error messages for the past week and see NOTHING in my account.. I sign on and it doesnt display my avatar anymore..says it has a problem displaying it...nothing displays in my inventory or friends or chat rooms..nothing is searchable..everything doesnt work from top to bottom...NOTHING IS THERE....There is absolutely nothing wrong with my computer, my connection or anything else.I have uninstalled and reinstalled IMVU about 30 times even using different versions and earlier versions and NOTHING WORKS I'm encountering an error message that reads, "There was a network problem getting the avatar info," every time I launch the classic client on both my PC and laptop. As a result, I can't access dress-up, rooms, messages, or any other features. I've tried troubleshooting extensively: clearing the cache, switching routers, disabling the firewall, and reinstalling the client multiple times, even downloading the classic client on my laptop but nothing has resolved the issue. To test further, I created a completely new account with fresh credentials, only to receive the exact same error. This suggests the problem isn't related to my account or hardware. . Any guidance or assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I will accept ANYTHING at this point...I dont know what to do anymore.....All I get is connection errors and it crashes off...There seems to be no fix in sight and im getting no help from IMVU at all....Ive invested 12 years and thousands of dollars on here and I am at wits end at this point...

If one of your friends is able to access your account from their computer and others using windows 11 can access IMVU classic then it stands to reason that the issue involves something that you are doing differently than they are.
Knowing this then you will need to find out what they and you are doing differently.
At this point I am not regretting still using version 550.0 Classic IMVU for Windows and still using Windows 10. I will continue doing so as long as I can because I have managed to avoid a lot of issues that others have written forum posts about. I do download many of the installer version for Classic IMVU Windows but I don't install them. Those installers are just sitting in my documents drawer as potential back up to be installed at a later date if needed.
If one of your friends still has a V550.0 Classic IMVU installer sitting in their computer that they never actively deleted or or still using an V 550.0 log in file (like I am still using) would you accept a copy from them if they E mailed it to you?
Again; good luck getting your issue solved.

@Petrazzenka I know a ton of people that have Windows 11 and have no issues at all ....and I dont want to go back to Windows 10 and go backwards just for one isolated website.this is the ONLY website i have any issues with....I gave my friend my login information and password and he has windows 11 and he got right onto my account and saw everything with no issues...They refuse to help me

@FlyShy...They are not helping me at all..I a VIP member and i speak to them everyday and they refuse to budge.They insist its my internet provider.My internet providr is Optimum and they insist its an IMVU issue.Ive done everything from exchanging modems and routers to rebooting, to having my internet provider change my service..anything you can possibly do or name and NOTHING has worked..Im not going to use mobile or IMVU Next or any other horrible platform they have and pay for that crap....After 12 years it looks like they finally have gotten rid of me for good..I invested a ton of money on here and have alot of good friends who I will miss dearly,but I cant be a part of this anymore.They treat their customers like crap, they dont help us, everything is broken and now on top of it all im losing all my music and mixes because they lost their music rights.I have over 650 mixes and thousands of songs I paid for that will now disappear and they will not be refunding us.How much more can anyone take? I would have never lasted this long had I not wanted to lose all my good friends but they have painted me into a corner now.I think this is just another step they are taking to sabatage the Classic Client for people to foce us to use and go to their other horrible platforms that we dont want to use...Customer help on here is non-existent..even if you had VIP they dont help you anyways...They just copy and paste and repeat whatever notes they get from their so called "technical specialists" and they are never wrong.Its always us or our equipment or our computers causing the problems....its never their fault or anything to do with them.They refuse to ever accept any responsibility for anything broken or not working on here..always passing the buck.So right now I have a service that I'm paying for that I cant use..im throwing hard earned money down the drain..and they dont care...I am seriously thinking about contacting an attorney.

i have banged my head against for wall for weeks now trying to figure out what i may have done to contract this disconnection. i even thought perhaps i accidentally installed the mac choice when i use windows but i realized that uninstalling doesnt actually uninstall me as if im stuck in the version im on. i never noticed you had to choose between windows or mac. so perhaps i chose incorrectly. i cant know because i can never truly uninstall imvu and reinstall it clean. also unless you purchase vip you cant speak to an imvu tech. someone needs to help from the inside because its obvious working from the outside the conclusion is the issue remains internal. i feel pressured to purchase vip just to be able to speak to someone from the corporation in hopes of some clarity. i loathe mobile and dont appreciate having to deal with the mobile antics but i have to admit that it is better than nothing. but at the same time i dont like it at all.

i am going through the exact same thing! i get the message every time! i am a veteran imvu participant for over 18 years and suddenly no matter what i do or what i pay or how many time i uninstall and reinstall it just continues to deny me access other than to log in. i cant see my avatar nor access any options. the only way i have found to play is to log into the actual website and log in there which gives me the wonky mobile movements which i never learned to navigate and i find extremely unsettling and dissatisfying. i am at a lot of years!

Unless a majority of IMVU Classic users are experiencing same type of issues then it's plausible that the problem is a compatibility issue.
I can't list everything that you can still try to troubleshoot but I can suggest one.
If you are using windows 11 then there is another thing to troubleshoot: Try getting access to a computer that doesn't use windows 11.
Good luck figuring out what will solve your issue.
