I have just bought VIP to be able to use live support after the chatbot suggested it for "more help". But the live support option is still not there?? Feel like I have been tricked into spending money for a service that dont exist? Anyone know how to find it?

That is one of the reasons to do some personal research on the pros and cons associated with such upgrades as VIP. Such pros and cons can be found by asking other IMVU users who have such upgrades; just ask when you meet them in chat rooms.
I am unsure that live support is still available but from what I have heard folk talk about while in chat room is: that they miss live support; especially the times it was available for ALL IMVU users regardless of account upgrades. That means even Guest_ users without AP were able to get live support and even able to make phone calls to the IMVU headquarters office in California during regular office hours.
Due to budget cuts to minimize expenses and maximizes profite of running the company the IMVU Shareholders cut back on paid IMVU Staff working for IMVU. Now automated AI can do the work of many such IMVU Staff by the AI using algorithms that scan what a customer writes and selecting key words to give generic "one size fit all" answers to any questions or problems an IMVU user might have.
The only way to get personal service is to be persistent when filing help tickets; sooner or later a human Staff member will be notified by the AI to solve a problem or answer a question. The most frustrating thing about this is that it often seems to take a back and forth correspondence on the help ticket lasting several months because the customer has to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a reply from the AI. I suspect this is where a VIP has it's perks because they seem to get "quicker" replies back by the AI. It seems the higher the VIP tier the shorter the waiting time is. Even VIPs get the AI treatment for a while, probably the first 6 to 7 replies before the AI gives up and notifies a human Staff worker.
Often one needs to personally figure out how to solve problems; often by troubleshooting or through trial and error. This does teach one how to think outside the box to become more experienced in how IMVU functions.
This is the new way most companies now treat customers in this Brave New World we now live in; and there is nothing we can do about it.
But don't give up hope yet because the Share Holders of some companies have started to take customer reviews and feedback more serious due to falling profits when customers buy less or outright stop buying. Example is what happend when Bud Light upset their main customer base just to try getting a new customer base that wasn't as large as that main customer base.
