I want to draw attention to a serious issue: external sites (FindGu, VuArchives, BotPower, GRF210…) are exploiting IMVU’s public data to scan rooms in real time, record presence history, and track avatars like a GPS.
These practices destroy the social and creative experience, turning IMVU into a space of abusive surveillance.
I request:
Blocking access to public data by these trackers
Strengthening the invisible mode to protect presence in public rooms
Sanctions against accounts that use or feed these tools
Clear communication to inform members about risks and available protections
We need transparency and concrete measures to protect the community. Repeating the same vague answers is not enough: it’s time to act.
imvu emporium shut down their free service and just reopened as a paid service.. the web page is still basically the same, even the colors. however now its an even more intrusive service... allowing ppl to pay to invade everyones privacy. they let anyone w a few dollars see in private or public rooms. strangers can track our friends , conversations and our movements. Imvu needs to do something to counter their site or block it. its encouraging and assisting thieves, stalkers and bullyies ... please do something to protect our community. it is really ruining the entire social experience of imvu,

Title: External Trackers: Threat to IMVU Privacy
Hello everyone,
I want to draw attention to a serious issue: external sites (FindGu, VuArchives, BotPower, GRF210…) are exploiting IMVU’s public data to scan rooms in real time, record presence history, and track avatars like a GPS.
Thank you for taking this report seriously.
Sincerely,AIDENANGELDAYMONE
