Improvements to Product Promotion

We are introducing improvements to make Product Promotion more accessible and more valuable for Creators. These changes are designed to encourage participation, improve the experience, and support Creators who want to reach a wider audience.

Making Product Promotion More Affordable

We are lowering the cost of promoting products. For example, a one day promotion will cost 350 Creator Coins instead of 500. Our goal is to make promotions easier to use and to help more Creators see a stronger return on their investment. With these changes, a wider range of products will now earn a higher return relative to the promotion cost.

Granting Creator Coins to Encourage Participation

We want more Creators to experience Product Promotion for themselves. While some Creators use promotions regularly, many have never tried them. To help bridge this gap, we are granting 500 Creator Coins to Earn Money Program Creators who have Tiered VIP. This amount will allow them to promote one product for one day. As a reminder, only Tiered VIP Creators can purchase and spend Creator Coins.

We may grant Creator Coins to more Creators in the future once we have monitored the current rollout and confirmed that it does not overwhelm the system or create negative effects. To support this approach, we will be granting Creator Coins each day on a rolling basis to a small number of Earn Money Program Creators who have Tiered VIP. We will continue monitoring the process closely and will share more details as we learn from this initial phase.

Data Visibility and Improving Creator Reports

We understand that Creators want more data and better analytics for their promoted products, so we have made some minor improvements to help you see the activity generated during your promotion. This new report now shows the product name and PID you promoted, the time remaining in the promotion, and the total sales, wishlists, and adds to cart during the promotion period. In the weeks and months ahead, we will continue adding more data to give you a broader understanding of the performance of both your promoted products and your shop overall.

Thank you for your patience and continued feedback as we work to improve the tools and features that support your success as a Creator.

If you are going to judge someone's talent Zycee, please don't.  ( I can tell you why but I won't as matter of etigutte).  However, what some devs feel is that an unfair edge is given for promoted items and it is simply more of a cash grab by IMVU.  So good experience or not, it is a concern when everything is behind a paywall including expedited PR for the top 2 tier holders.  I can point out 10 items in the first couple first pages of that catalog that would never make it without promotion so get off your high horse.  Paying for promoting your item has nothing to do with your talent, it is actually the opposite isn't it?

I wasted 1000.00 dollars buying creator coins to promote it feels like your gambling your money away, I didn't realize I spent that much money for promotions and then had to pay for my VIP, I'm embarrassed ashamed of myself it feels like a high and then it's back to a low.

I Want To Quote Something For Everyone Here:

Their Recent Event Was Called:

Shop-A-Holic

I Hope That Means Something To You One Day, o___O

I Don't Mean That Disrespectfully To Others,
I Meant That In A Way They Sound Like
They Were Being Disrespectful To Others...

When They Neglect People,
Then Abuse Creators,
& Then Remove Phone Support,
Then Going Around & Having
A Lot Of People Complain About
What's Wrong With Them As A Service,
& Finally Ending It With An Event
Called Shop-A-Holic

You Tend To Be Concerned
Where Your Money Is Even Going
That Your Investing In This Platform With At All, o___O

I Mean I Would Love To Create, &
Bring Enjoyment To Others, &
Have My Stuff Be Something They
Want To Get, & Have...

Right??

But Lately, Something's Been Very Off About
People Buying Credits, & Funding Services On
This Platform, & I Can't Be The Only One Who's Felt It??

I Wasn't Exactly In Support Of
That Event Called Shop-A-Holic
So I Avoided It By Not Even
Wanting To Sign-In For That Time Period At All...

No?? Any Thoughts??

All My Creation Currency Is Within My Own Credits,
Paid, & Non-Paid, & If Paid Credits Isn't Good Enough
Anymore?? Then They Can Keep The Creator Tokens,
& I'll Just Be A Regular User From Now On, ~__~

Cause That Was The Whole Point Of
Actually Separating The Currency From
The Start, Was That Paid Credits Were
Required To Create Products Here,
Now?? I'm Starting To Be Curious If
Their Actually Doing This On Purpose, ~__~

I've Cut All My Money Here,
& I'm Completely Just Using
Whatever I Have Left To Work
On Products With, If That's Not
Good Enough?? Then I'm Likely Out,
& Just Done Using Credits Entirely...

For me, this program has been a good experience. My products have always been high quality, and I was too lazy to promote them. I think the people who are complaining should improve their products or better understand what they're selling before buying. For experienced creators, this has been very helpful, and I'm grateful for having implemented this service, which is inexpensive for the return it's giving. Don't take out your lack of talent on something that is well-structured.

I'd rather promote naturally because the sales go back down to your natural earned sales and even lower.

Yeah sure buy the top 2 tiers and then buy coins to promote your items and spend more money.  I have 2 tier 10 accounts here and I am certainly not spending any more money.  I think it is enough I have to pay for the basic VIP just to submit items into the catalog. With the decrease of IMVU users over the past couple of years, sales whether promoted or not will continue to suffer but thank you for treating some developers better than others and offering "free" coins for the few that are willing to pay for the top 2 tier VIP.

Doesn't help me. I don't have any "creator coins", so it doesn't matter what you charge. It would be nice of you to make it clear to everyone that the tiered VIP you are referring to are only the top two tiers. The rest of us are out of luck it seems. It costs me more to create anything than I actually make.
