Music service seems to be down again, cant purchase music from the store, is there an update when its going to be working again?

If you're not giving us access to our music, at least give us the ability to make finalized playlists with the music we already have. It's been days and still no update.

IMVU has lost their  Music Provider...

This is a report I found on the internet....

As of June 25, 2024, the IMVU Music Store's partner, VerveLife, is no longer active, meaning existing releases will be removed, and no new releases will go live. IMVU's music store partner, VerveLife, ceased operations on June 25, 2024.

  • Impact on Music Store: This means that no new music will be added to the IMVU Music Store, and existing music from VerveLife will be removed.
  • Future of Music in IMVU: It's unclear at this point whether IMVU plans to partner with a new music provider or if there will be any other changes to the music functionality in the platform.
  • VerveLife is a company that provides digital content distribution for various platforms, including IMVU, Delivery Agent, Rockbot, Live Nation Signatures, and Billboard Music Store. As of June 25, 2024, VerveLife is no longer an active store partner with IMVU. This means that any music or content previously distributed through VerveLife to IMVU will be removed from the platform, and no new releases will be made available through VerveLife. VerveLife is a leading force in robust, tech-driven solutions that help brands and digital retailers harness the power of music. They have cut off ties with IMVU................

I did some research again and found more of this information on the web..and its not good...IMVU, PLEASE GIVE US SOME ANSWERS ABOUT ALL OF THIS...

This is devastating news and this was never told to any of us and we should have been informed since we are all paying members of this website..Why has this been hidden and kept in the dark from us?I have over 600 mixes and tons of songs and now after finding this and reading this I am panicking...I now have a feeling there is no more IMVU music store and that it will not be coming back...Can someone from IMVU let us know something about this because we have alot of money and time invested in our music from the store and did NOT and do NOT want it changed.We dont want any format changes either..I have now been hearing rumours lately that soon it will be only radios used in rooms or triggers to have music on IMVU and soon no more mixes or store...This would be unacceptable and cause most of us to leave the website for good..and what happens to all the money we spent on songs and mixes that we would lose that we have had for years??? Somebody needs to give us some answers and clear all of this up..and give us the truth about what is going on....

On top of all this complete music mess...I still have alot of songs listed in my music song wishlist which some of my friends have since gifted me songs from in the past couple of weeks..and they bought me these songs AFTER the store has been taken down and my friends PAID to gift me those songs..WHICH NOW I CANT EVEN USE BECAUSE I HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY MUSIC MIXES OR SONG LISTS...SO IMVU IS STILL TAKING MEMBERS MONEY THAT THEY SPEND TO PURCHASE SONGS FOR THEIR FRIENDS FROM THEIR FRIENDS WISH LISTS EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO BE USED BY THEIR FRIENDS BECAUSE WE CANT GET INTO OUR MUSIC MIXES OR SONG LISTS ANYMORE...TALK ABOUT GALL  AND  UTTER NERVE !!!!....THAT IS CALLED THEFT....

It is quite annoying knowing you enjoy playing music in various imvu rooms only to realize all the music you have has been wiped. I only have 3 lists of songs to use from now sadly. This is beyong ridiculous. I had around 300 tracks and I am regretting not having them segmented and saved in lists. Then again, we never got a warning to know that VerfeLife is no longer a partner. Do better please. A little heads up beforehand would have been enough through a community member as with regular messages when a sale is approaching or big imvu event. Little things like this make regular users much less likely to even game on imvu and seek alternative platforms or consider paying for services on this site. Why play in our faces like this?

@PamelaAnderson , We have purchased these songs, so we should still be able to use our existing mixes and make new playlists with songs that we purchased already. And even though VerveLife  is not hosting anymore, IMVU should at least have prepared for a replacement or still honor the usage of our existing purchased songs.


@Ashleyellen . IMVU support team is  NOT helpful.. I have  still outstanding help tickets that have never been resolved since last year. The staff  just keeps closing the tickets or ignoring them. Which is a common complaint  amongst  imvu users.( and yes I have  reopened  tickets  many times and  at no better results still being ignored or closed)

The music issues are a complete joke on this website and its been going on for years now.They have never fixed any of them.Why should we have to leave our rooms to try to hear our music again which means we have to stop our mixes and then leave,come back and start our mixes all over again from the very beginning because they always mute and go silent???Who and what members signed up and wanted to pay for that??And this has been going on for years now.I have submitted hundreds of tickets and cases on the music issues and all are still pending so what they tell you about filing tickets and cases and that will help is nonsense..It does absolutely NOTHING.You will just get the usual copied and pasted canned responses back telling you to have patience and wait endlessly while they do nothing.I also have had music disappear from my song lists which I bought.I have over 600 mixes and never get to hear them until the end of the mix because they mute well before the end..I never end up hearing the songs towards the end.Even after you file cases and tickets...IMVU will sneak and try to close those cases without even telling or alerting you even though they never fixed them.They want you to go away so they wont be bothered and wont have to do anything.The other excuse you will get is that they have no answers about the music because they have no contact with the music department even though the music is part of IMVU and we pay them for it.They will tell you they dont have any answers but that your issue has been "ESCALATED" to the proper department and that the music is seperate from them and they cant get any answers for us..They tell you they have no contact with their own music department and technicians, acting like they are an entirely different business platform than them, yet we pay for it.Thats yet another excuse for them never fixing it.Its a joke..We just keep being told to wait and wait and wait endlessly for years and they never fix anything.Its a shame that we all care more about this website than they do.How about this?Since we always have to keep waiting endlessly all the time to get what we pay for fixed correctly with no solution in sight..why dont we put the shoe on the other foot IMVU and make you wait for our payments and our membership money until you fix this right and stop ignoring it? Give us what we paid for for once or dont get our payments until you do something about it.....Then we can tell you to have patience and understanding while you wait years to get paid just like we are all told to do.....Why dont you wait endlessly too for a change and we will pay you when you finally fix it? Of course you would never tolerate that so why should we have to????

Ok so imvu is aware, are they rectifying the issue please and can we have an update on the timeline for this to be restored, because  this is affecting everyone on classic, i like many have been using the music lists since it launched so its a well invested and used service by many of us,
