I am trying to set product image for Desktop & Mobile. I am deriving eyelashes so I want close up to face. Clicking "Advanced" button in Choose Thumbnail dialog shows error message: "Advanced configuration is not available on the Legacy scene. Please select different scene." No matter which scene I choose I get the same message. What is this about?
You are talking about a way to create a product image that is visible only in the web catalog and in the classic client.
However, for the mobile app, Next and Desktop client, the customer only sees images from IMVU Studio. Most of the IMVU purchases happen through them.It is very important that the buyer sees what he is buying.
It is unacceptable for the product image to be like the image in the attachment.

It's tricky to find information
"Close and reopen the Choose Thumbnail window: Click Cancel at the bottom to reset the dialog box completely.
Make sure "Simple" is selected before zooming: Reopen the window and click Simple first.
Bypass the viewport entirely (Best approach for eyelashes):
Take a screenshot or render a close-up picture of your avatar's eyes/eyelashes.
Crop and save the image on your computer.
Upload the custom image file into the product submission form instead of using the interactive thumbnail generator."
