Hello, to remove the Guest_ from your username, you will need to purchase “Register Name” from the IMVU Classic Website Store: https://secure.imvu.com/store/index/

Once your username is registered, you can change your username by purchasing “Get a New Name.”  Changing your username alone will not remove the Guest_ status. The name first needs to be registered. You do not need VIP specifically for this.

I almost forgot to mention that name registration and name change tokens are 2 different kinds  of account upgrades. 

Name registration allows one to register name to get Guest_ removed WITHOUT requiring one to change the original name chosen during account creation.

Almost 2 weeks ago I registered my name to get the Guest_ removed. It's a one time payment and is sometimes sold on discount. The regular price is about 12 US Dollars but I waited for a 45% discount.

Unfortunately it's a rather complicated process to purchase that account upgrade. It requires a deeper understanding of how the mechanics of Windows works. Name registration is only available on a very specific IMVU Classic webpage and getting that webpage to load is a complicated process; even for Windows 10 users. 

Many who have switched to Windows 11 seem to be having extra complications opening the correct IMVU Classic webpage. It's not an easy process to get to the IMVU Classic webpage where name registration can be purchased. It's a process of loading the correct webpages, clicking specific links and menus. One will be redirected several times and if it's not done correctly then one will be redirected to IMVU NEXT.

You do need a name change token in order to change your name. Guest will be removed with VIP. If I'm not mistaken, a Premium name also removes the GUEST, as well. I think that's what I read. Hope it helps!
