Can IMVU make it so that everyone can add a radio stream to a room so theres more variety, some streams are not working for users, or are blocked due to location, so more availability would allow users to at lease find a stream in the room that works for them, also just allowing mods/room owner to do this makes it a very narrow selection music wise, there has to be a way to enable better access

most of what im posting about is what ive experienced over 19 years on imvu on classic client and the difficulties that some pc users have, i have both windows and a mac so can see the issues from both sides as url isnt accessible for mac users at all

what i meant with the extra urls being added was allowing a selection for users in the room to choose from as a whole, if theres an option to add url streams, i meant it in a similar way to the playlists, since people could add their lists and there was a mix of music from others but i agree with your point as the option isnt there. If it came down to people listening to their own music outside of imvu then theres no point in having url streams in the first place......

The biggest issue and was stated in the OP was streams not working or blocked, etc. Putting that aside, if the purpose is so everyone can have a shared audio experience. It's not going to be much of a shared audio experience if each person is listening to a URL that appeals to them. So going back to what I said before. Let the room owner set the mood with visual and audio and let the users decide if they want the whole experience or not.

@Sarirea ty for your input, thing is people can listen to their own music of course but then doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of having music for all, and for how long will we have this url streaming before that goes sideways, I do like the idea of a main stations and some alternates in that list, seeing how the streaming has gone this last week many rooms are seeing a drop off in visitors, that doesnt bode well sadly

I don't think everyone should be able to add music to a room. That in my opinion should be reserved for the room owner. Now the idea of having a main station and a few alternate stations is a great idea.
Counter argument being that if people don't like the selection, or are unable to hear it. There is nothing stopping them from not hearing the music in the room and playing their own local music from their computer or on an alternate website in the background.
