A huge chunk of us consider "general audience" as the norm on every platform in society, not just imvu. So many here are frustrated at how their content is getting taken down or not selected in imvu events.

I think it would really help the user experience to clear this up and set key changes to lead that easier and instantly, instead of an afterthought.

I know it's explained in the "fine print" but as we all know about contracts, most folks in society don't absorb that thoroughly.

In real life I'm allowed to wear a mini skirt that's short enough to show my buttcheeks and crotch panties because it's still technically hiding my private parts, but the places I would feel more comfortable wearing something like that would either be the beach/pool or maybe a special event at a nightclub where it's adults only. It's really hard to implement society rules online as most come to the internet to get away from it. So I find setting key changes would help make this much easier and help prevent the chase of cleaning up as much.

Most folks on imvu are very good people, especially at heart. Like many, people get carried away and distracted. Changing the logo to 14+ is an instant reminder that what they're creating/using has the strong possibility of being in contact with minors. I also sense that this would be a really good way to guide people towards using AP more instead of finding ways to skirt the rating and get punitized for it later, then blame the site for their unsatisfied experience. I know it takes a while for reports to catch up, but the longer a person gets use to this lifestyle, the more harder it is for them to change because they felt comfort in it.

When I try to talk to people about this, many have found that it is the parents job to monitor what their children are doing and stop them themselves. But the teenage years is a time where monitoring lessens and they get to go out and experience more independence from their parents.

I know imvu has already started to make changes to support this idea, like re-rating the GA body shape meshes that are too voluptuous and mature for a minor. I notice it's an uphill battle that is taking a very long time, leaving many confused over why they're feeling punished.

Maybe?
