Today I spaced a rule for outfit challenge and realized my mistake immediately after submitting the outfit. (It was the barbie challange and I used a barbie item, which falls under the no trademarked items- innocent mistake)
I reached out to imvu using the "chat now" feature and asked if there was any way to recall the outfit. There is currently no way for the user or the staff to recall a submission.
My suggestion would be that they add a feature to recall or edit an outfit prior to it entering the voting stage.
Im sure im not the only person who has had an "oh crap" moment and likely wont be the last. I have also noticed a lot of submissions where the user doesnt add a shirt or pants, and im sure some of those are unintentional as well. Adding a "delete submission" or "edit submission" feature may assist with this.
