As an IMVU Storyteller, I frequently find myself needing to send large amounts of credits to users during and after events. I truly enjoy supporting the IMVU community in this way; however, I would like to request adjustments that would better support those of us who actively contribute through Discover‑based programs.
1. Request for 50% Credit Discount for Storytellers & Influencers I respectfully ask that IMVU consider offering a standing 50% discount on credit purchases for users who are part of Discover‑related programs, such as Storytellers and Influencers. This discount would not include any additional perks—simply reduced credit cost.
A verified list of approved Storytellers and Influencers could be maintained so that eligible users automatically receive this discount. We do not request or receive compensation for the events we host, yet we consistently invest significant time, creativity, and personal funds into enhancing the IMVU experience for others.
Event expenses can be substantial. I regularly pay co‑hosts and moderators, gift users from their wishlists for correctly answering game questions (often 15 or more per event), and purchase furnished rooms and themed decorations. These costs can easily range from 20k credits and upward per event.
This discount would support hosts in continuing to create high‑quality, engaging events that strengthen community involvement.
2. Request to Increase Monthly Credit Transfer Limit to 100k for Program Members I also ask that IMVU consider increasing the monthly credit transfer limit to 100k for users in these same programs. Many of us regularly send large amounts of credits during events such as fashion shows, seasonal celebrations, and other high‑engagement activities.
While I understand that transfer limits exist for safety reasons, IMVU has already entrusted program members to represent the platform through official events. I would be willing to sign an agreement acknowledging that any misuse of this privilege would result in permanent removal from the programs and potential account action.
I am confident that those selected for these programs value their roles and would not jeopardize their standing for misuse of credit limits.
