Encourage creators to use only related tags in their products

Hi. Hope everyone's enjoying their holidays!

I'm trying to shop and it's taking me much longer to find what I'm looking for because shop is filled with so much unrelated searches that I have to give up and make do with what I already have.

Doing Peer Reviews, I see many creators adding unrelated words to their Tags, and I know I'm not allowed to fail it because none of them are UFI or AP when rated GA.

Speaking to some devs, some admit they do this on purpose so that their products will be slipped into people's searches when they're looking for something else and help their shop gain more publicity. It's aggravating and a terrible shortcut, but I understand their frustrations as well.

A lot of the times, I've noticed, some creators will just copy paste their whole 12 words over and over again for each product, especially when making different colored versions, and include the tags for the other colors all together for all of them, even when the actual product has nothing to do with it. I know it's to help them save time in editing the tags, but this is too much, and it's clogging the catalogue.

If there's ever a day creators are satisfied with imvu's new promotion features, I know all of these creators will not have the patience to go back and edit all their product tags. Can we have volunteers from the community help with this?

Volunteering is always a really fun event in the community. Many users love engaging with staff, showing their appreciation for the site and meeting others who share that with them too.

I do really like the new Attributes feature! But this is only going to effect new products and leave behind all the past items creators have made and not have the patience to go back and edit because it's just too big of a project for them to take on by themselves.

maybe?

@Syrennaty I don't think those creators understand that any words we put in the product description section will appear when we search in shop... But I have seen this before. It's incredibly annoying to have to scan through that in peer review to make sure there's nothing obscene.

Example offending productThat's not why we can't find anything in search any longer.

IMVU isn't enforcing the 12 tags limit!

This is a common approach I see creators using to tag their products:

The first row alone has 29 tags, and there are 43 rows of tags. It's a pair of black leggings, tagged with iPhone, frozen, selfie, santa claus, and over A THOUSAND other tags completely unrelated to the actual product. There are the names of other creators tagged, meshes that the product isn't developed from, brand names, holidays, other languages and countless other useless words. The product is tagged "duck" at least twice, for crying out loud.
