I am just wondering if anyone knows if IMVU will ever have a graphics update for mobile, desktop & classic client? I noticed when looking at rooms & some items in shop, a lot of stuff looks... 2D & pixelated now so I am just curious!

How a product looks often depends on the developing process. The meshes used, templates used, mapping guides used, opacities used, textures used and layering of those textures; all play into how the final product looks. Some developers make better looking products than other developers. This is often because the better developers have more experience, better skills, invest more time and effort, and use better materials (meshes, textures, layering, opacities, etc.).
The graphic engine used by IMVU can't improve the way a poorly made product looks. The fact that you are able to spot flaws or poor workmanship is because the graphic engine is adequate.
Until INVU users buy better looking products and stop using products of low quality then don't expect changes.
The current graphic engines used by IMVU are already pushing the limits that can be processed and render on the device used by the average IMVU user, also their internet speed plays an important role. Mobile phones can overheat and drain battles quickly, PCs can crash. Not everyone owns a high end gaming computer that can handle the load if the dial of the IMVU graphic engine is turned up.
