What is server unknown error. How to resolve it

I've tried dumping the cache, clearing the data and reinstalling the app entirely and I'm still getting "unknown server error" any suggestions

No. When ever I try and add people as friends. It's doest not let me send friend request. However if someone else makes request then I can accept it.
