Hi guys, this is the first time I've posted a thread here.
I recently had a question that I had for a while and it is... why does IMVU use huge measurements in relation to its 3D models?
I mean, when making any type of model, they must be exported with very large sizes in the Creator section. My question is, was there or was there a problem with using lower measurements when implementing IMVU, or?

Hi @Bastian, I believe these are concerns about the 3D mesh editor used. Not all editors need the models so huge in size to match the client. When I am working in Max, I see the anomaly of which you speak but when working in Sketchup, (for example) things are much closer to the normal variant of 1 to 1.
I do like working with huge models as it makes to so much easier to add, edit and change the detail. Also, huge sized models allow us to be more precise and accurate in general.
I think this deals with not what IMVU needs... but with what the mesh editor's exporter does during export.
