Almost every one of my friends on IMVU, including myself, have multiple accounts. You probably do, too. But what if you have multiple accounts and no longer want the hassle of switching between them?
You could always stop using your alternative account(s) no problem, but then you could risk them getting put on hold due to inactivity. Even worse, it would waste all the money you put into them.
IMVU should have an option to merge accounts, allowing you to inherit all of the purchased items in your inventory and credits balance from one account to your main account.
I understand if IMVU would be iffy on adding this feature in case people find a way to exploit it, so I've come up with some restrictions to make it a more foolproof option for users:
You must go through a verification process to determine you are the owner of both accounts
Both accounts involved in the merge should have a verified email address
Both accounts involved in the merge should be at least one month old
The account you wish to merge has to have at least one purchase made, be it credits, AP, VIP, etc
If IMVU were to add this option to the game, I'd imagine a merge could be obtainable in the 'Upgrades' section of the shop via purchasing a Merge Token for $5, or whatever price they deem fair.
