[Archived]I don't know if this is the right thread but I just started getting into meshing on Blender and I'm trying to make some derivable jewelry with good provided textures but I just can't seem to bake a good metallic texture for my jewelry but I've seen other people bake amazing textures from Blender for that metallic/gold look

[Archived]I think it comes down to a nice gradient for the base texture, and then utilizing the normal and shiny maps to make it realistic.
I have someone asking me to make them a custom ring, and I feel the shiny maps will do so much to take it from simple to "wow".
