Hello!

When I create a derivable mesh, I add one neon and for that neon, an emission map. If the product is being derived, the emission map shows like it can't be found, and if the diffuse map/texture map is being changed, the emission effect is gone. The one who derives, needs to re-add the emission map.

How to make the emission map, which is a simple Gray color, remain?

Thank you

It actually says the File is missing while trying to enable. I noticed the file size is also incorrect...

@akin Try turning off 'Optimize Previews' in the Preferences

Thanks for the alert @LestatDeLioncourt I have written up a ticket for this and will look into it.

Hi @akin I concur. I am using version 1.10.2 (latest at this time).

What I am seeing is when someone derives the product and wants to change the Emission "Slider", the neon effect immediately goes away, when adjusted. The same thing happens with the Shine effect. If the Shine "Slider" is changed, the Shine goes away too.

The only way to get the Shine or the Emission to return is to add a new material. I am sure @Drosselmeyer or other staff will be interested in this finding.

Good catch!
